 Waiting 140 years to be put into service, here’s a refurbished set of antique industrial factory cart casters from Schenck Caster Co. of Meriden, CT. Dated 1877.

Amazingly, these are unused new old stock I uncovered....they had only a light haze of rust, but no wear or the usual caked-on factory grease and grime from decades of use. Ready to add Industrial Chic drama to your table or cabinet!

Interestingly, as a member of the Wide Awakes in NYC, Mr. Schenck took an active part in candidate Lincoln’s 1860 campaign. He then served for the duration of the Civil War where he voted for Lincoln a second time, sending his ballot home from the war. He started his caster company shortly after returning home from service.
