Here's a super-rare set of 1800's furniture swivel casters in double wheel design! Swiveling and self-leveling- wheel assembly tilts from side to side, keeping wheels in contact with uneven surfaces. Small circular mounting plate and thick stem make these ideal for secure mounting to slim table or cabinet legs. Hardwood wheels to be kind to your flooring.

By M. B. Schenck & Company of Meriden, Connecticut with patent date of May 1877.

Interestingly, Mr. Schenck was a supporter of presidential candidate Lincoln. He served for the duration of the Civil War, and voted for Lincoln a second time by sending his ballot home from the war. He founded his caster company shortly after returning home. Thank you for your service, Mr. Schenck!
